New Car!!

For the past few years, I have been driving an old 1991 Honda Accord with close to 162,000 miles. Now, going to school 5 hours away and having to drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains regularly, there was no way that the Honda would make it there and back many times during the school year. So, there had always been talk over the past year and a half of me getting a new car to be able to drive back and forth to school and then also have something to drive around and not rely on friends for rides.

Anyway, this past weekend when I got home I started to lightly bug my parents about going car shopping and we decided to go to CarMax Monday. We weren’t expecting to actually buy anything while there, but we happened to find just the right car! We came across an excellent deal for a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition with only 74,141 miles on it. We had to go for it and now it is sitting in the driveway! Each day since, I have been falling more and more in love with the car, as I was actually hoping/wanting to get a Nissan Xterra, but this Jeep is awesome and the smoky/metallic blue color is beautiful looking!
