WHY I BLOG – YARO STARAK

I’ve been blogging now for nearly two years now. I think my
article publishing frequency has dropped in recent times but
the quality and focus has definitely improved over the
years. I have a much better picture of where I am trying to
    get to with my blogs.

There are a few reasons why I have stayed motivated for as
    long as I have:

    - I’ll get the obvious out of the way first, the income.
While I don’t make a fortune directly from my blogs I do
make some steady money from advertising and affiliate sales.
It certainly is a major motivational factor.

    - Maintaining something I have built up. I have worked hard
to build an audience and put in many hours pouring my heart
and soul into my articles on my blogs and I’d hate to throw
    it all away.

    - Creative expression and to be heard. I enjoy writing and
love the feedback and exposure as a result of putting it all
out there on a blog. Blogging happens to be a fantastic way
to facilitate exposure for a writer. You get paid for what
you enjoy – both in money and intrinsic satisfaction (the
    glory!).
