Christopher Ray is right. There are many invoicing applications "out there". And since they all produce invoices, chances are they will have overlapping features.

I would imagine that just about EVERY invoicing application resembles Freshbooks in some way. They are a great example of what all SaaS applications can and should be aiming to achieve. (Hooray, Mike McD for making the cover of Entrepreneur!)

There are also many shoe stores out there, many grocers, barbers, car dealerships, etc. We have the luxury of being able to select the best fit, best price, and best quality from among all the providers of goods and services. Each provider offers something a bit different, perhaps a little more unique, better valued, or more responsive to a particular niche market.

That's what makes the capitalistic system of business such an envied commodity. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Sure, Greenerbilling has some of the same features as other invoicing programs. But they also do a few things differently. I like it that way. It works for me - and probably a bunch more.

There certainly is plenty of room in the great big "cloud".

Hi

I think some of the features mentioned here are already provided by other online invoicing applications. I don't see any differentiating factor here. I believe Invoicera and some other applications are way ahead.

Thanks

Nice post! I'm definately going to look into this a bit more. I love the business model that they use (Free trial, pay as you go, then different levels) - seems like that could work well for them and other online businesses. I like the features that you posted and looking forward to the other 15 that are in development.
