First, one thing that has not really changed since the last time we took a look at T3Leads is the different areas they are operating offers in: payday loans, car loans, and mortgages to name a few. But, that’s where a lot of the similarities end.

Now, everything looks completely different, so the first new thing to point out is the great new design and layout that they have going on.  A few of the benefits mentioned on the site for using T3Leads include simple account management, responsive service and support, affiliate forum, and bi-weekly payouts (with minimum earnings and approval).

The next cool thing about T3Leads is the lead gen forms that they now have that are greatly customizable. Instead of just having a URL that you send your traffic to, with T3Leads new set up, you can actually customize the lead gen forms that you use. You have a bunch of different options including whether you want to host the form yourself or send the traffic to the advertisers landing pages, you can customize the fields including location, size, fields, etc, and there are 1 and 2 step processes you could use.

While the lead gen forms are obviously the focus of T3Leads, the option is only available for a limited number of campaigns. Beyond the lead gen forms, you get into your more “normal” type of campaigns such as banner advertising and direct linking.

Have you guys heard about Re-boost from Boost Mobile? First, I’m not sure how many people are apart of their network, but they are definitely smaller than Verizon, AT&T, etc but they’ve got some pretty cool features and phone plans that may start attracting new customers.

Boost Mobile has designed three simple phone plans to choose from, all with no contracts:

I know I’d love it if someone helped pay part of my cell phone bill next month!

Besides their easy and convenient ways to pay your bills, Boost Mobile phones also set up extremely well for the social person. Facebook, Twitter, whatever it is, you can get it on your Boost Blackberry or phone. If you are a social media user like I am, and I know many of you are, then this is a great bonus for you.

I do most of my tweeting and Facebook updates from my mobile phone and Boost’s phones are social by nature and make it incredibly easy to make your status updates, tweet a funny joke, or share a picture of your friend picking his nose in the bar. Business Opportunity Grant contest details.

Part of redesigning this website was also to get a new logo created. Right about the time I was thinking about working on a theme for Dorm Room Biz, I got an email from someone within the LogoInn.com logo design service. They were offering a free logo design, so I knew I could not pass this opportunity up. This takes us all the way back to March. About 2 months is a very long development time, but most of the delays were on my side of the action and not on the designers side.

So, how was the process you’re wondering? It was good and pretty normal; basically as I suspected it to be. I’ve worked with many web and graphic designers over the years and pretty much new what to expect. I was emailed a small logo design questionairre which had different questions such as the style of logo I like, what colors I wanted the logo to have, etc. So after going back and forth for a few emails, we finaly got the details laid out and were ready to hit the ground running.

The logos that I was first shown were along the lines of what I asked for in realtion to the questionaire that I filled out as well as some different examples I sent to the person I was working with. The nice thing about this process was that they were more than happy to make as many revisions as I needed. Now, I don’t know if that is part of their normal service or not, but it worked great for me. I’m the type of person, like many of you probably are, that likes to have a TON of revisions done to designs to try to make them just right. However, there is a point where you have to realize you will never be able to achieve a perfect logo because you’d never be happy with what you had if you went for perfection. So, I’m very happy with the current logo that the site has, I think it goes very well with the theme and colors and look forward to utilizing it for a while to come.

I’d rate my experience with the guys at LogoInn.com pretty well and would consider going back for future logo work. I know there are a ton of options out there when you are looking for a logo design like running a contest, hiring a firm, or checking out a logo desing company like LogoInn.com. Using this type of internet based service may not be for you, but for this type of project, it was the perfect fit!

One area of the internet that is well covered and overloaded with websites it the market of reviewing and comparing web hosting companies. I feel like 1 out of 5 websites is a hosting comparison site. I’ve even reviewed them before here on Dorm Room Biz. Yet, many of the ones I have seen are horribly designed, show a comparison of only 5 web hosting companies, and that’s about it.

But, WebHostingChoice.com is a bit different and looks a lot more appealing then the others that I have seen. They focus on displaying on the front page the top 10 ranked hosting companies based on their reviews.

Another nice thing about WebHostingChoice.com’s site is that they have broken out different reviews into categories based on features of the hosting company. Basically, this allows you to quickly see which hosting companies offer the services/features that you are most interested in and then move on to looking at the reviews for those sites.

You are probably thinking that a service like this wold have to cost an arm and a leg, well you are only half right. If you are interested in trying out the service and being able to use it on just one website with one customer service operator, then you can run a 30 day trial for free. However, if you want to go deeper and really get into the many uses of the service, you are going to need more than 30 days to try everything out. the first pay plan, named the Professional Plan is priced at $59.00/month – this will give you the ability to use the service with 2 different websites and have up to 5 operators.

Now I being a one day show like myself or just a small business, you may not find a need to shell out that kind of monthly price, so only do it if you are incredibly serious about ramping up your level of customer service and want to offer chat support. Otherwise, if you just want to track basic information about your visitors (location, length of stay, where they came from, etc) then you may be well off using a free service such as Google Analytics.

For those of you who do not know, CashCrate is a website that allows you to complete offers and surveys, and get paid to complete them, even better!

What do you do?
Simply enough, you fill out different offers from different companies including other websites that get you to fill out surveys for money. Although it may be a little time consuming to do some of the surveys, you can usually fill one out in just a couple minutes.

How much can you earn?
It really depends on how much time you can give to filling out the surveys and how much you are willing to spend. Yes, you read that right – how much you are willing to spend. Most of the offers are free, but only pay out less than $1.00; yet some you can pay a couple bucks towards and you get a much higher return. Example: I paid $4.95 to cover the shipping cost of an eBay information guide and program. The payout for the offer was $15.00. The pay out for free offers can range anywhere from $10.00 to 20 cents.

With messing with the system for just about an hour, I completed offers totaling $30.85 with 8 offers. I have had $26.25 of that already approved.

What’s the best part of the whole system?
The minimum payout for you to get your money is only $10! That sounds a lot better to me than many other similar sites and programs where the minimum pay out is something like $25.00 or more.

So, if you have the free time, want to make a little extra money for your time, then check out CashCrate and start completing some offers!

Is there a downside? Yes, you may start to get a lot of spam email (so make sure your spam filters work) and you may get some telemarketing phone calls because some sites will ask for your email addresses and phone numbers.

Like the other networks out there, TNX displays text links on publisher’s websites through an ad code. Unlike the other services out there, TNX takes the approach of selling their links by individual page and not for the whole site.

TNX is also different from TLA and others because they deal in TNX points rather than actual money. Yet if you want, you can exchange your points in for money. The point system works for both sides of the fence – advertisers and publishers. Advertisers purchase points before being able to place ads and publishers receive TNX points when ads are placed on their site, and like I mentioned, they can then be traded for actual cash. The attractive part of this system is that it allows publishers to purchase a bunch of points and then use only a certain amount for different ads to see which are producing the best results and also to save some points for later on, say for a different campaign.

As a publisher of ads you have the ability to control the ads that are displayed on your sites pretty easily within the account control panel. Publishers can block ads, delete different ones from pages, or you could even ban a website that is advertising on your site – this is happening a lot because of a lot of different spam and wares sites that are getting their ads displayed.

If you do get into the game of earning a lot of points and transferring them to cash, watch out for their payout system that only allows you to withdrawal up to a certain amount of your points per day.

If you are looking for a new text link ad website to try out on your website to make some money from, check out TNX. Their different approach to the whole game may provide to be an advantage for you. If you have a decent sized site with a good page rank, your payout per page should be pretty decent. And then if you have hundreds or thousands of pages indexed, then you can easily start to rack up some decent side income from your site for having a small text link ad displayed wherever you would want on your website.
