One of the classes that I am taking this semester, my senior year of college, is a class on leadership and motivation. One of the textbooks that we are using for the class is “The Art of Leadership” by Manning and Curtis. Now that we have actually started to use the book for readings and lectures, I have been coming across some good topics that would make some great blog posts and series.
So, the first series of posts that I am going to borrow from the book is on different leadership qualities.
Here is the introduction to the section:
Certain qualities belong potentially to everyone, but leaders possess these qualities to an exceptional degree. The following is a discussion of 10 qualities that mark a leader and help influence the leadership process – vision, ability, enthusiasm, stability, concern for others, self-confidence, persistence, vitality, charisma, and integrity.
Each day I will post the brief reading for each characteristic/quality. Look out for some good stuff coming your way!
