Handy Recovery is an easy to use data recovery service designed to restore files that you may happen to delete from your hard drive and disks, we all know it was accidental but all that matters is that you get your data back right?

Handy Recovery offers a decently long list of features including the following:

NTFS/NTFS 5 + EFS, FAT 12/16/32, HFS/HFS+ file systems support
In-depth disk scanning for certain file types
Option to create disk images for deferred recovery
Preview window to show the content of deleted files
Shows probability of successful recovery for each file
Recovers files from deleted and formatted partitions
File filtering by name, mask, date and size
CF card recovery

There is currently a 30-day free trial version of the software which you can download and try out the features. As with everything else free, there is a catch – you are limited to 1 recovered file per day, so if you like to hit the delete key a lot when sorting through your files, move along and purchase the full version.

Speaking of the full version, the cost is $39.00 for a license. Not too bad of a price I suppose if you are prone to loosing or deleting your files and can never seem to get them back on your own. I would venture to say that there are probably some free software packages out there that will do this for you, but if you would use this a lot, why not pay for a version that is guaranteed to work, time and time again to recover deleted files?

I’d suggest you check out Handy Recovery at http://www.handyrecovery.com if you are in need of a quick data/file recovery tool and are willing to spend a little money for a reliable one!

It can be considered that buying such software is not necessary but those people who has faced hard disk crash will certainly say that the cost of the software is not that expensive.
The main way to protect data today is through regular back up, so if you don’t want to one day buy a data recovery software, back up regularly.
