About Dorm Room Biz
Dorm Room Biz was started in December of 2005 by Chris Pund as a resource for young student entrepreneurs to learn from and gain information about launching their own business from a dorm room or similar location while in college. Young entrepreneurs have the most freedom while in college and it is the perfect time to start a business!

Since that day way back when, Dorm Room Biz has created a nice log of posts relating to everything from blogging, entrepreneurship, monetizing websites, success stories, marketing, bootstrapping, and most importantly, business ideas.

Now I am on a quest to turn Dorm Room Biz into a very successful resource for young entrepreneurs and to keep helping you all, my readers, grow and achieve your dreams!

About Chris Pund

The quick and dirty: I am a 21 year old student at Radford University, graduating in May with a degree in Business Management and Media Studies.

I have been interested in business and entrepreneurship since a growing up and being around my parents, both entrepreneurs. Being around a family business and growing up in that atmosphere really does help to jump start a persons interest in business. Since being in middle school, I have always had some business idea that I worked in my head and even started - printing/stationary service, web design, snow shoveling, eBay, training/consulting services, and more.

Now, I currently run two businesses - an eBay store and a website development business (search the blog for more about them). However, coming in June I will be starting a full time job with a large department of defense contractor in Baltimore, MD and joining the life of the cubicles. Yet, with any luck, that stint in the corporate world will be short lived (3-5 years) and I will be able to get back into the world of entrepreneurship and launch my own business to support my self and my family at that time. Look out for more postings to come about the business that I am going to be developing to replace my full time job!
