Over the weekend there was a bunch of sites posting about selling advertising space on your website or blog. A lot of it was great information, so I recommend you check it out. In case you missed some of it, I’ve linked up a few of the articles that I enjoyed below that have great suggestions about attracting and retaining advertisers on your blog.

If you are looking for an affordable and easy way to manage ads on your blog or website, I suggest checking out OIO Publisher. OIO Publisher is a plugin that I have used on some other sites of mine and will be implementing on the new release of Dorm Room Biz.

My site uses OIO publisher to control all aspects of our advertising system. We dug in REAL deep into the OIO code, structure, and were able to completely take OIO to the next level as far as automation for our site. Instead of manually creating new zones for different sections of our site, when we create a new college town, two new zones (125×125 and 468×60) are automatically created using specified paramaters and inserted into the site. One critical step resolved. One key point is for entrepreneurs to focus on BUILDING their business, NOT WORKING ON their business. Let others do that for you, you make it able for them to do it and reap the benefits.
